Prof.Chilumuri Srinivasa Rao was born and brought up in Nidubrolu, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his M.Com from College of Arts and Commerce, Andhra University and qualified UGC NET-JRF in 1993. As a UGC-JRF scholar he did Ph.D. from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 1999. Later he completed M.B.A. and DCA. He has 27 years of post graduate and graduate teaching and research experience. He has worked in various colleges viz. E.D.Cell, S.V.University as a Project Fellow, as a Lecturer in SEICOM Tirupati and S.C.S.Kalasala, Gudlavalleru, Krishna District. He worked as Senior Lecturer and Reader in B.T.College, Madanapalle and as Associate Professor in Government Degree College (W), Srikalahasti. He has published 9 Books i.e., Urban Bus Passenger Transportation; Performance Appraisal of APSRTC; E-Commerce and E-Banking; Madigala Charitra Samskruthi; Dandora Ambedkar Abhistam and How Long to Wait for Social Justice, Demonetisation Impact and Prospects; Personality Development and Soft Skills and Employment Generation and Poverty Alleviation. He has published 34 research articles in refereed and reputed International Journals and conferences proceedings and 11 articles in daily news papers /magazines. He has participated in 10 International conferences, 35 National seminars/conferences and has presented 6 research papers in International conferences and 21 research papers in national seminars. He completed one major research project sponsored by UGC, New Delhi during 2009-2011 and at present one Minor Research Project is going on. He organised Three National Seminars on E-Commerce and E-Banking, Demonetisation and Employment Generation and Poverty Alleviation. At present one candidate awarded Ph.D. and five scholars are working for Ph.D. under his guidance.His areas of specialisation and research are Banking, Transportation, Financial Management and E-commerce. ఆచార్య చిలుమూరి శ్రీనివాసరావు విక్రమ సింహపురి యూనివర్శిటీ పి.జి.సెంటర్ కావలి, కామర్స్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్లో ఆచార్యులుగా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. ఆంధ్రాయూనివర్శిటీలో యం.కాం.పూర్తి చేశారు, యుజిసి నెట్ (జె.ఆర్.ఎఫ్) పరీక్షలో ఉత్తీర్ణులయ్యారు. పిహెచ్.డి.పట్టా పొందారు. యం.బి.ఎ. పూర్తి చేశారు. బెంగుళూరు యూనివర్శిటీ పీజి సెంటర్ కోలార్లో, సీకాం డిగ్రీ కళాశాలలో, ఇ.డి.సెల్ శ్రీవెంకటేశ్వర యూనివర్శిటీ తిరుపతిలో, ఎస్.సి.ఎస్.కళాశాల గుడ్లవల్లేరు కృష్ణా జిల్లాలో, బి.టి,కాలేజి,మదనపల్లిలో, గవర్నమెంటు మహిళా డిగ్రీ కళాశాల శ్రీకాళహస్తి, చిత్తూరు జిల్లా లో పనిచేశారు. ''దండోరా అంబేద్కర్ అభీష్టం'', ''మాదిగల చరిత్ర సంస్కృతి'', ''హవ్లాంగ్ టు వెయిట్ ఫర్ సోషల్ జస్టీస్'', ''అర్బన్ బస్ పాసెంజర్ ట్రాన్స్పోర్టేషన్'', ''పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ అప్రెయిజల్ ఆఫ్ ఎ.పి.యస.్ఆర్.టి.సి'', ''ఇ-కామర్స్ అండ్ ఇ-బాంకింగ్'',''పర్సనాలిటీ డెవలప్మెంట్ అండ్ సాఫ్ట్ స్కిల్'' మరియు ''డిమోనిటైజేషన్ ఇంపాక్ట్ అండ్ ప్రాస్పెక్ట్స్'' అనేవి వీరి ముద్రితరచనలు. ఆచార్య శ్రీనివాసరావు యుజిసి మేజర్ రీసర్చి ప్రాజెక్టు' స్రాటజీస్ ఫర్ ఇంప్రూవ్మెంట్ ఆఫ్ బస్ ట్రాన్స్పోర్ట్ ఇన్ తిరుపతి' పూర్తి చేశారు. పస్తుతం ఒక రీసర్చి ప్రాజెక్టుపై పనిచేస్తున్నారు. ఆచార్య శ్రీనివాసరావు కామర్సులో 27 సంవత్సరాల బోధన, పరిశోధనానుభవం కలిగి ఉన్నారు. వీరు 42 జాతీయ అంతర్జాతీయ సెమినార్లలో పాల్గోన్నారు. కాన్ఫరెన్స్లలో 34 పత్రాలు సమర్పించారు. వీరివి 19 జాతీయ అంతర్జాతీయ పరిశోధనా పత్రాలు, పత్రికలలో 11 పత్రాలు ప్రచురించబడ్డాయి. ఆచార్య శ్రీనివాసరావు విద్యార్థి దశలో మాదిగ రిజరేషన్ పోరాట సమితికి అనుబంధ విభాగమైన మాదిగ విద్యార్థి సమాఖ్య మొదటి రాష్ట్ర కన్వీనరుగా పనిచేశారు. ప్రస్తుతం మాదిగ ఉద్యోగుల సమాఖ్య (రి.నెం 697/2011) ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షుడుగా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. వీరి సామాజిక కృషికి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం, అంబేద్కర్ జయంతి ఉత్సవాల కమిటి సంయుక్తంగా వీరికి 'దళితరత్న' పురస్కారాన్ని (2011) బహూకరించారు. ఆచార్య శ్రీనివాసరావు తల్లిదండ్రులు కీ.శే.శ్రీమతి & శ్రీ చిలుమూరి కరుణమ్మ సత్యానందం. వీరి భార్య ఆచార్య కొలకలూరి మధుజ్యోతి, కుమార్తె సరయ, కుమారుడు ఆశీష్ ప్రభాత్.
